One of our greatest highlights for 2020 is that we are celebrating the first university student from among our scholarship recipients! Edasta completed high school this year. She performed well on her national exams and applied to two university programs. She was accepted and reported to university in November 2020!

Spring is a time of new birth, new beginnings, fresh starts and that's exactly what many of our students are looking forward to right now. As you know, all of our Form 4 students sat for their national examinations in October. In February we got the results of their exams and found out which of them qualified to go on to high school and which would have the chance to pursue further education through the Vocation and Education Training Authority (VETA). Before the big reveal, let's take a moment to remember our journey thus far.

Happy New Year and best wishes for 2016!
As the old saying goes "no news is good news," especially for our students in Liberia. Just a year ago, schools and most public buildings were shuttered due to the Ebola outbreak. In direct contrast, our girls have finished the first half of the 2015-16 school year, enjoyed their holiday break and happily returned to school without interruption.
